Spring-Palooza Peony Festival

Sunday, May 17 11am - 5pm

At this event you can:

  • Walk over 5 acres of our display gardens

  • Shop our garden center, including peony plants!

  • Shop our local artisan fair

  • Create garden crafts

  • Play games + complete one of our scavenger hunts

Parking 

We will have parking on-site in our field. Our paved lot will be reserved for those who need accessible parking options.

A FREE shuttle will run back and forth from our overflow parking lot the entirety of the event. Overflow parking is located at Sycamore Elementary in Avon.

Please note: Heavy rainfall/flooding leading up to Spring-Palooza can affect the amount of spaces we have available in our field. Please carpool if you can!

Peony Sale

Our garden center will be open during the entire festival. We will have both potted peonies and bare roots for sale!

Our potted peonies will include herbaceous, Itoh, and tree peonies. Our bare roots will include herbaceous and Itoh varieties.

The Garden Center will also be stocked with plenty of other perennials and annuals for you to take home to your garden!

Food/Drinks

Enjoy a variety of treats from the food and drink trucks!

Silent Auction to benefit Misty Eyes Animal Center

Head to the newly renovated Bridal Office on festival day to bid in the silent auction! All proceeds will benefit Misty Eyes Animal Center.

Auction items will include a wide variety of products from our talented local artisan fair vendors and, of course, gardening products!

Featured Presenter - Randy Collins

Randy Collins was born in central Indiana. After college he worked for IBM Corporation for twenty-nine years and then small business consulting for fifteen years. He and his late wife had three children, five grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. He remarried in 2002 and enjoyed love with his second wife until she passed away in 2025. Shortly after retiring in 2003 he became a passionate gardener after taking master gardener training through Purdue. He currently resides in Avon, In.

Randy has written numerous books on gardening and inspirational genres. His latest book is Love Notes, Cookies, and More, released in early 2026.

Spring-Palooza is a family-friendly event! Visiting the Gardens is a great way to help foster a love of nature with kids. (Pro tip: kids love to explore the fairy garden!)

Additionally, stop in our FREE craft area to make some fun projects to take home!

  • Our garden center will be open and stocked with perennials, annuals, and of course, peony plants!

  • YES! We ask that all pets stay on leash for the entirety of their visit. We will have treats and water at our welcome table.
